Stan Road will be closed September 24th through October 13th between SR 6 and Baldwin Street(SR 2037) to allow for the reconstruction of Stan Road and its intersection with SR 6. Residences/businesses on Stan Road between Baldwin Street and SR 6 will have to be accessed from Baldwin Street during this closure/detour.
Drivers should also be alert for the temporary signal that is in place near Meadville Forge.
The project started in August 2024 and is on schedule for completion in fall 2025.
The contractor is Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. of State College, PA. The contract cost is $16,616,006, which is to be paid with a combination of federal and state funds.
