Garbage Options – Informational Seminar 06-12-2021
West Mead Township will host an informational seminar on Potential Options for Township Garbage Collection on Saturday, June 12, 2021 beginning at 10:00 am at the West Mead Township Building Meeting Room, located at 1150 Morgan Village Road, Meadville, PA 16335. Space is limited so reservations are requested and can be emailed to westmead@westmead.org or by calling 814-336-1271.
Presenters at this seminar will be Brenda Schmidt of the Crawford County Solid Waste Authority and Michele Nestor, consultant at Nestor Resources. They will be provide an overview of the current system and provide other possible options for consideration including establishing a Township wide garbage service, recycling options, contract language and specification and a hybrid version of exclusive non-mandatory service options.
