DUE TO AN ISSUE AT THE BLACKTOP PLANT, SHIELDS PAVING HAS RESCHEDULED THE REMAINING ROADS TO BE DONE BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 23RD, WEATHER DEPENDENT. THEY WERE ABLE TO DO LIBERTY STREET AND QUAIL HOLLOW DRIVE ON FRIDAY. SORRY FOR THE DELAYS BUT THEY ARE WORKING ON THE ISSUE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
DUE TO THE WEATHER, PAVING HAS BEEN DELAYED BUT ANTICIPATED TO START ON FRIDAY, JULY 18, 2025!
West Mead Township to start summer road paving projects on Baird Avenue, Morrell Street, Barbara Lane, Sarah Drive, Graff Avenue Ext, Quail Hollow Drive, Hedgerow Court, Helen Street, Calvin Street and 2 sections of Liberty Street, between Mulligan Lane and Ranz Bar and Grill, beginning on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025. The Crawford County Fairgrounds will also be having the entrance and roadway around Gate 3, at the Leslie Road and Hamilton Road intersection, paved at the same time. Shields Asphalt Paving will be doing the paving work beginning on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025. They are hoping to finish by the end of that week. All work is weather dependent.
The roads may be closed at various times and some will be done in one pass with the paver, so please be prepared to find an alternate route, leave earlier if necessary and follow directions from the flagmen and road workers.
